The aptly named James Blake fan tumblr james-blake hit it out of the park this weekend, putting together an unofficial, fan-recorded live album that features cuts from all Blake’s releases, recorded in concert or at radio or TV appearances. We’re still partial to Blake’s cover of Feist’s “Limit To Your Love,” and it sounds especially creepy and confessional and bass-heavy here, but the classics – “The Wilhelm Scream,” “Klavierwerke,” “Love What Happened Here,” etc. – sound crisp, clear, and hypnotic. Blake’s voice and those undulating bass tones alone make the whole thing worth several listens in good headphones. Download and listen!

- But as he traded sampled a cappellas for his own voice, something shifted. Held aloft by his airy, agile falsetto, his eponymous 2011 debut album soared. The Feist cover “Limit to Your Love” revealed the opposition at the heart of his music, his trembling high notes mirrored by an almost inaudibly deep bass throb.
- James Blake Great Britain ENG James Blake's Feist cover 'Limit To Your Love' is the first taste from the producer's self-titled vocal-pop debut album, set for release on Atlas/A&M in early February. Two of this latest EPs, 'CMYK' and 'Klavierwerke', appear to be a natural buildup to this project.

(Bass imaging) This song 'James Blake - Limit to your love' has this weird bass that kicks in at about 1:00 into it. Now I have heard this song on a few speakers and it sounded great but when I heard it on the magico m2 I could literally hear the bass right at my ears as if I was wearing heapdhones. It was such a strange sensation.
